Will Rafuse’s wide-eyed, winsome chefs, bartenders, waiters and cats peer soulfully from richly colored, glowingly warm canvasses. A Vancouver, Canada native who has sustained a lifelong love of art, Rafuse only began painting in 1994, yet quickly gained a stellar reputation for his distinctive, witty style. Working in oils with robust, bold colors, Rafuse was selected to design the famed Robson Street’s banners shortly after he graduated from college. Soon afterwards, his vibrant imagery attained worldwide recognition and has since been featured in movies, television shows, and on decorative ware such as coasters, tableware, decorative clocks and textiles. Rafuse donates his original artworks to charities and fundraising events. |
